Filler is generally easy to source worldwide. If you’re unsure of where to get it, try our global list of filler suppliers.

We aim to be as conscious as we can when it comes to packaging, delivery costs and resources. All our filled items like bean bags, door stops and windjammers are specially designed to make filling them yourself simple.

This means we can offer you the option of buying these items unfilled for easier delivery or carriage. Our cushions can be bought with or without inners and our bean bags fit neatly into their own hand-luggage sized travel bag.

Although they are durable, like the rest of our products our bean bags are not waterproof. Please don’t leave yours where it may get repeatedly wet or rained on.

Every bundle of offcuts we buy is a ‘lucky packet’. The colours and textures vary depending on what’s in season at the time. Our weavers have creative licence to weave their own interpretations from the colours available, with basic sizing guidelines from us. Each fabric block that makes up an item (even our most giant beanbag) is also considered and hand chosen, making every item as individual as the many hands that created it.

We pride ourselves on sustainable quality. That means we keep a close eye on how our products wear. We’re continuously adapting our procedures to improve as the industry evolves (or compensate where it cuts corners).

We have the added challenge of working with material that is made from a changing combination of fabrics, each reacting differently to wear. Every block of fabric is overlock

stitched before it’s used and our fusing uses a super high glue dot count. We also stitch twice on all joins and use a twin needle topstitch with M36 top upholstery grade cotton.

Yes yebo ja! If you’re in Cape Town, please step into our world. Expect collections of hanging lampshades, giant bean bags, floor to ceiling vibrance on all sides and some big big smiles.

All our products come with a 6 month workmanship and defects warranty from your date of receipt. By its very nature our fabric comes with inconsistencies and imperfections. However, we take quality seriously and every item undergoes a rigorous quality assessment and inspection process. If you spot a defect beyond what is naturally expected, please contact us soonest.

Our signature fabric is woven from quality t-shirt offcuts, so it’s likely to age just like your favourite t-shirt. The more you expose it, the more it will fade. If you plan to leave something like a bean bag out in the sun, you might like to choose from our faded or pastel ranges as they naturally have a more ‘sun-kissed’ look.

Without getting technical, our fabric is skillfully woven in different ways to create four general colour ranges. All our products are alive with vibrance, but ‘bright’ and ‘dark’ have a more bold feel, while ‘faded’ and ‘pastel’ are more muted. To offer you more online variety, there’s up to three different items to choose from within each of the four colour ranges.

As well as on this website, we have a store in Cape Town. You can also find a list of our international stockists here.

Most of our items come with a care label attached inside. Please read this for specifics, but most can be machine washed on a cold delicate or hand wash setting. These instructions only apply to colourful Ashanti outer fabric. Fillable items like beanbags, doorstops and windjammers have a non-washable inner that holds the filling.

Being made from up-cycled materials, our fabric may have variable colour fastness. It’s safest to wash your item alone or with darker colours on a cold temperature setting.
