In the dynamic world of interior design, Fusion Design and Architecture has established itself as a pioneering force since 1998. Renowned for crafting award-winning restaurants, bars, and cinemas across the UK, Fusion DNA has consistently delivered innovative spaces that captivate and inspire. With over 600 successful projects to their name, they are synonymous with excellence in every stage of the design and build process.
We at Ashanti Design jumped at the opportunity to collaborate once again with Fusion DNA. Tasked with a unique challenge, we set out to create two distinct types of lampshades for Fusion DNA's latest project, Nando’s Bath in the UK.
Meet the Juju Lampshade

The Juju Lampshade, inspired by Ashanti Design's Utuli Makulu, stands tall at 900mm in height and 600mm in diameter. Available in two colour combinations—white with red accents and white with mustard tones—the lampshades feature an inverted design with alternating colours at the top and bottom. This design element adds a dynamic touch that complements Fusion DNA's innovative interior concepts.

Introducing the Lima Lampshade

Named after the Swahili word for lemon(Limau), the Lima Lampshade brings a fresh perspective. With dimensions of 670mm in height and 600mm in diameter, these lampshades showcase Ashanti Design's craftsmanship in weaving techniques. The variations include designs with openings along the middle row or at the base, allowing for unique light patterns to enhance Fusion DNA's carefully curated interiors.

Enhancing Interior Spaces
In Fusion DNA's thoughtfully designed spaces, every detail tells a story. Vibrant yellow feature walls complemented by yellow accented furnishings and artworks echo the colours found in the Juju and Lima lampshades.
