In December of 2022 we were extremely proud to present our work alongside some of the countries top designers, crafters and artists as part of the V&A waterfronts 'Joy From Africa to the World' exhibition.
This exhibition not only aimed to inspire hope and joy, but it was also a stand against the environmentally disastrous single-use tinsel and plastic strings of lights so often seen in malls around the world.
Across the two installation sites you can find a variety of Ashanti woven shades and custom geometric screens hanging amongst the other pieces. Among these are a custom Uthuli totem bead, which is essentially two of our existing Uthuli shades woven into one, and Etosha and Ricki lampshades.
Now in its fourth year we were super proud to be part of such an inspiring and colourful exhibit that aligned with our environmental and social values.
